One of the main objectives of the SWY program is to promote the activities after the program (post-program activities), which is to make contributions to the society.
Examples of the post-program activities are:
- Volunteer works
- Organizing international youth exchange programs
- Promotion of SWY
- Involvement in the selection of the future participants
- Giving orientation to the future participants of SWY program
- Organizing SWY reunions
- Promotion of international understandings
- Introduction of the Japanese culture to mexican society
- Interaction with the Japanese community in Mexico
Our recent post-program activities are
On March 13th of 2015, Cyclone Pam hit Vanuatu and other South Pacific nations. Cyclone Pam was one of the most powerful and damaging cyclones ever in the region.
SWYAA México, Brazil and Sweden created a video to show our support to all of our friends in this beautiful country. You can watch the result here.
Together with SWYAA Sweden, we invited all SWYAAs around the world to participate in the “Cross Atlantic Twin Project: Blood Donation”.
December 5th is the International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development, according to the UN. During the months of November and December of 2014, exPYs and friends were invited to make a social contribution: to donate blood.

Events to introduce modern Japan and its culture from a youth and intercultural perspective to public high school students. These activities were developed by SWY 25 JPY Miss Aya Saito and participants of the Global Leaders Development Program 2014. We appreciate the support of Miss Aya and her enthusiasm.
